Freedom Spectacular July 1st, 2009 - 7:00 p.m. Come out for a time of fun for the whole family including bounce houses, carnival games, live music, food vendors, and Fleming Island’s largest fireworks display ever! The event is sponsored by Christ’s Church Fleming Island and New Grace Church and will take place at Christ’s Church Fleming Island on U.S. Hwy 17, just south of 220. Project S.O.S. Summer Camp July 13th-17th (for 6th-12th Grade). Camp will be held at the UNF: University Center from 9AM-4PM Monday thru Friday, with extended day care available until 6PM. Vacation Bible School at T.D.A Assembly of God located at 7538 Rampart Rd Jax, FL 32244. July 6-10 from 8:30am-1:30pm. Ages 4-11 years. We will have a week full of art, games, sports, dance, music, and bible studies. Lunch is included. There is a registration fee of $25.00 which will cover your childs lunch and all activities throughout the week. We only have limited space. The deadline to register is July 2. Diamond D Ranch Summer Horse Camp for Boys and Girls. Diamond D Ranch offers a Christian based summer horse camp for ages 8-17 over night and day camp. The children will ride horses 4-5 hours each day and learn basic horse care, western style riding lesson, participate is cattle drives and so much more. The overnight campers will go on night rides just about every night and attend church service at the 100 year old church located in the middle of Jennings State Forest. The campers are asked to take turns and pray before every meal. There are 6 weeks of summer horse camp available the weeks are:   7/6 - 7/10, 7/13 - 7/17 and 7/20 - 7/24. There will be a professional photographer taking pictures of the campers as they attended camp and the parents will get a chance to purchase those pictures at our award banquet that will be held at the end of each camp week.
